The Gems of Eastern Uusimaa: Porvoo & Loviisa

Discover the historic charm and aristocratic elegance of Finland’s southern coast on this exclusive two-day tour.

Day 1: The Poetry of Porvoo & Manor Luxury

Our journey begins in Porvoo, Finland's second oldest city. We step into the world of the national poet at Runeberg’s Home Museum, where the museum’s own guide shares intimate stories of the family’s life. Following the visit, a city guide leads us on an engaging tour through the cobblestone streets and iconic red riverside warehouses.

After a delicious lunch at the traditional Restaurant Hanna-Maria and some free time to browse the cozy boutiques of the Old Town, we head to the legendary Haiko Manor & Spa. Here, we enjoy afternoon coffee while hearing about the manor’s fascinating history. The evening is yours to relax in the spa’s pools and saunas before a refined dinner is served in the elegant Manor restaurant.

Day 2: Castles, Breweries & Contemporary Art

After breakfast at Haiko, we depart for Malmgård Estate. This 17th-century estate features a magnificent manor house and a renowned artisan brewery. We enjoy private guided tours of both the manor and the brewery, with time to shop for organic estate-grown products.

Next, we arrive in charming Loviisa for a cozy lunch and a guided tour of its historic wooden quarters and sea-facing fortifications. Our final stop is the vibrant Bonga Castle, the home and gallery of world-renowned artist Riitta Nelimarkka, where we explore her colorful and imaginative world of art.
