Come along on an interesting trip to Porvoo, the city of Finland's national poet, Johan Ludvig Runeberg!
Our day starts with a guided walk in the old town of Porvoo. We learn about Runeberg's life in Porvoo, where he lived with his family for 40 year until his death 1877. We enjoy a tasty lunch at RUNO Hotel in the old town. We have the possibility to do some shopping after lunch before we head to Runeberg's home museum. The museum's guide tells us about the poet family's life in Porvoo. Fredrika Runeberg's cook book is for sale at the museum shop! Our last stop and enjoy afternoon coffee with an historical Runeberg's tart.
