Discover Gumbostrand and Historic Porvoo

Located in a beautifully restored factory building by the sea, it’s the perfect place to explore contemporary Finnish art at your own pace. Before leaving the coast, we enjoy a bistro lunch and browse the design shop for exclusive interior decor.

The journey continues to Porvoo Old Town, one of Finland's most iconic destinations. Our professional guide will lead a design-themed walking tour, sharing the history of the famous Iris factory, Saara Hopea’s glass works, and the heritage of Finnish everyday design. The tour also includes a visit to the historic Old Town Hall art department.

After a traditional coffee break at the charming Tea- and Coffeeroom Helmi, you will have free time to explore Porvoo’s local gems. We recommend visiting the Taidetehdas (Art Factory) for contemporary exhibitions or stopping by the legendary Brunberg confectionery store for local chocolates.
